When Harry met Sam - Part 2

This is continued from my previous Blog.
What harry feels about Sam. Sam is a cool, freaky guy still thinks that always in his teenage. He is a person who makes the situation change with his nice sense of humour. Guy with lot of passion.He is someone who can really listen and make you feel better when your upset about something. But at times he can be adamant! He is a go-getter and does anything for his passion. A person who gives more respect and importance to the history.



Scene 4

Sam and Harry on a ride back home from beach.

Harry: Hey Sam nice weather na.....so what plans for the evening.
Sam: No plans as such. But thought going for a movie.
Harry: No Sam. Let's go and play pool.
Sam: That also sounds like a nice plan.

They stop at a signal and see a beautiful church to their left.

Harry: Hey Sam check.. there is a wedding happening in the church.
Sam: oh ...really.

Signal goes green, Sam raises the Throttle and zooms.

Harry: I always wanted to see a Christian wedding. But never got a chance.(In a low voice)
Sam: what? you have never seen a christian wedding. why do you want to? we are anyways Iyers. LOL!!
Harry: So what isn't a crime to attend their wedding.
Sam: No not at all.

Without even thinking for a extra second Sam steps on the brakes and takes a U-Turn back to the church.

Harry: What you doing bro??
Sam: You wanted to see the wedding right?
Harry: Are you crazy. We don't know anyone there. You seriously gone nuts.
Sam: Nope. Am just trying to fulfill your wish here.
Harry: I don't want to get embarrassed.
Sam: No. we won't am there to take care.

Sam rides the bike into the church parking lot. checks the rear view mirror and adjusts his hairstyle.

Sam: Come let's go in.
Harry: Are you sure you want to do this?
Sam: Anything for you buddy.......(smiling).
Harry: Okay then let's go!

They go into church and sit on the Back bench as if attending a lecture in college.

Harry: What an atmosphere bro....its lovely. check out flower decoration and the Dress code they are in. WOW! i wish i could marry a christian girl.
Sam: Don't be loud you idiot. The bride is beautiful right?
Harry: It doesn't matter any more....LOL!
Sam: So you happy now.
Harry: Of course. Hey let's check out when they leave in the Rose decorated Car.
Sam: Sure. Let's see that from the bike park.

The couple leave the church in the Rose decorated Car. The bride throwing the Bouquet up in the air and people fighting to catch it.

Harry:Wow! what a way to start a married life.
Sam: For us its difficult at wedding because of so many rituals and after that too...(smiling)
Harry: Yeah I want a simple wedding not a grand one.
Sam: Not in your hands.

Sam and Harry start back home.

Harry: Thanks Bro. You made my day. Never thought we will attend a wedding that too uninvited.
Sam: Hey anytime for you buddy.

Sam and Harry return back home after the exciting day.


Scene 5

@Sterling Resorts in Munnar.

Sam is completely sloshed with Vodka, Honeybee, Director's Special in his Veins And lying near the bachelor's party area again as uninvited fellows.

Harry: Sam get up!
Sam: What the hell!!..... Am Just flying leave me alone..
Harry:Hey cmon bro let's go back to the room.
Sam: Stop pulling me you fool. I wanna talk to you.
Harry: okay tell me what you wanna talk about?
Sam: What you think?...of course about you.
Harry: About me!!
Sam: I wanted to tell you that i always have a soft corner for you because .....there is a pause!

Sam thinks about Harry.........
Harry is a 1st cousin…but more a friend and a younger brother.A very chilled out guy.Cool is the definition bestowed upon him. Have seen him through thick and thin, good and bad times.The one thing that is constant all through these phases is his smile, optimism and positive outlook which in fact rubs on you as well.He has so much to give be it love, friendship or beyond. You will fly high…you got it in you.Your and will always be a special person to me and guess if I haven’t told ya ...so many times in you I have seen shades of myself…

Sam: So many times in you I have seen shades of myself.
Harry; hey bro i think your spoony. let's get back now.
Sam: Even you had a drink right??
Harry: Yeah but not much.
Sam: Let's play the game now.
Harry: Sorry the party is over and all of them have returned. And am not interested in any games.
Sam: It is a challenge.. more than a game.
Harry: Hmm.... What is it?
Sam: No it's not a challenge it is going to be a dare.
Harry: Stop the nonsense and tell what you want me to do.
Sam: Always you keep saying that you can talk to girls easily....it's like a t...alent rite(Drunk Voice).
Harry: Yeah. What now?
Sam: It's a dare. Go talk to the girl i point to now.
Harry: I think we should get back now!
Harry: Am not gonna do it.
Sam: Kyun dar gaya kya ( Got scared huh...in Hindi).
Harry: Darna mana hai dost( find the translation :-P).

Sam points out to a girl who is 5 Foot 3 inches good looking with a cute little smile. Standing with another girl near the camp fire.

Harry: Hmm...Are you sure.
Sam: i thought it was a dare...and never thought you were lackadaisical(smiling).
Harry: I might need one of your help.
Sam: Salla...can't do without us huh!
Harry: Not like that i worked out the plan for two!
Sam: I don't think you want me to help you now.
Harry: No. I will take Rocky with me.
Rocky: Me....
Harry: You are the only one who is not drunk.
Sam: he he.....nice thought. i hope your plan works out!
Harry: Arey yeh harry ka jadoo hai kabhi fail nahin hua (It's Harry's magic and it never fails).

Harry whispers something to rocky and both start walking towards camp fire.

Harry: Rocky i guess you know what to do?
Rocky: Yes buddy i won't let you down( In a officious voice).
Harry:Good. Go then start posing.

Rocky Walks into a dark place where no one would take snaps. Harry with a Cam and close to the girls started clicking snaps.

Harry: Hi. Would you mind taking snaps?
Girl: No.
Harry: Thanks. This is the button which you have to click.
Girl: Okay.

After a couple of snaps. Harry walks towards the girl.

Harry: hey thanks am Harry.
Girl: Am aarthi. And this is Sudha.
Harry: Hey hi. this is my cousin Rocky.

Sudha walks away as her friends were calling her!

Aarthi: So where are you from?
Harry: We are from chennai. How about you?
Aarthi: Am from trichy.
Harry: So you with friends.......(thinking of getting more intro)
Aarthi: No i came with my mom and dad.

Aarthi calls her dad and introduces him to Harry and Rocky. Then Danny and LB(Lover Boy) join the conversation leaving Sam alone.

Harry: Wat say now?
Sam: No comments. You have pulled it off!
LB: Sam he has it in him.........It's natural great work harry.
Harry: Thanks LB.
Sam: Every dog has it's day.
Harry: Trying to defend huh...Anymore dares? Am gamed!!
Sam: Let's get back now.
Harry: LOL! Finally...

Sam will regret the above incident because Harry and Aarthi became best friends and they are for the past five years and still sailing in the ship known as Friendship..

When Harry met Sam - Part 1

Harry and Sam are the two characters in my story. The story doesn't start with "Once upon a time" lines. Introduction about the characters. Harry is a cool,tall and outspoken guy whereas Sam is the Coolest, Charming, Smart and handsome chap. Sam is a graduate now and trying really hard for his MBA. Harry has just joined graduation and starting with his so called college life. Harry likes having lots of fun and will always crave for doing it. Sam knows harry very well because they are related not by Blood but by the term known as "Cousins". Harry is not all that financially well versed and always seeks for help in many situations. Sam volunteers to help harry all the time. I guess this introduction would do to start the little story.

Scene 1
Harry: Hi Sam, am in coffee day with my friends, bunked my college and we are short of cash to pay the bill. can you just come over for our rescue??
Sam: Holy crap. okay i will be there in 15 mins.
(Sam has a wonderful CBZ bike and he treats it as his own boy. Sam is always prepared to meet any situations and he never knew that harry was fooling around to make him come to coffee day to meet his friends.)
Sam: Hey, you idiot, won't you check your wallet before entering such places. How much is the bill??
Harry: (Blushing)..... sorry bro i was just kidding? i wanted you to meet my friends.
Sam: Fu***r.. you trying to fool around huh. Okay so where are they sitting??
Harry: They are in Marrybrown now.
Harry: Sam meet my friends Katha, Ajay, Savitri, Neha, Pals, Srini and Reza. And guys this is Sam, my cousin.
Katha: your cousin looks smart huh(Smiling..)
Sam: Hi all and thanks for the compliment( Picks up Harry's coke can)
(The usual talking, fun and masti continues and then everyone leaves)

After One Month
Scene 2
This scene is @ Cafe Coffee day...
Harry: Can i get some Q codes (used to play your dedication on the music jukebox).
Attender: Sure sir I'll get it.
Sam: You fatso how much will you eat?
Harry: Sam, in this life we should eat and sleep well. we all work harder so that we can get good food and peaceful sleep with all luxury.
Sam: Philosophy huh.....LOL!!
Harry: Hey bro, Its you who is a philosopher.
Sam: Showing modesty. OK fine. Hey so how many girl friends do you have?
Harry: There are many and not sure on the number....LOL!!
Sam: Enough, i can't take this any more.
Harry: I will eat it don't worry.....LOL!!.
Sam:Dumbo you will never understand huh.
Harry: Just kidding.... So tell me which track you want me to dedicate it for you?
Sam: Anything is fine. Hey wait. I want to listen to Desert Rose(Sting).
(Harry walks to the jukebox and chooses the track. He notices something different happening near his table)
Harry: Sam, The two girls behind our table are looking at us.
Sam: Stop it harry. i have listened to this many times. will you please finish your snack now.
Harry: Am not kidding, Am Serious bro. If you don't believe then check out.
(Sam looking at the girl's table and checks the reaction when our chosen track was played on jukebox announcing our names and displaying it on the screen)
Sam: You are right harry. they are looking at us.
Harry: See, am good at this. So what we are we waiting for let's go and talk.
Sam: NO... Let's wait.
(The girls walk away and are waiting in the bike park. Sam and Harry are sitting in a place from where they can get a panoramic view of the bike park)
Harry: Bro let's not waste time. Please now shall we go and talk to them.
Sam: Hold on. Plan A is we go down and walk closer to their bike and give a stare and walk away.
Harry: What is Plan B then?
Sam: There is no Plan B buddy.....(Smiling).
Harry: This is worst planning. Even India's five year planning was much better.
Sam: It will workout. Trust me.
(They pay the bill and walked towards the bike park. harry praying inside that it should work out. They are now closer to them and they both give a stare at the girls. In return they smile)
Harry: Sam, what are we doing yaar?let's go talk to them.
Sam: Harry, the plan is we stay near our bike and don't start for another ten minutes. Let's see if they are also waiting.
Harry: Okay. sounds interesting but i hope it works out.
(They wait for ten minutes and for their surprise even the girls were waiting and acting as if they were searching for the keys)
Sam: Now let's leave.
Harry: What! you want us to miss the chance?
Sam: Shut up and get on to the bike.
Harry: Hmm.....God please do something here.
(They start the bike and leave the place and reached the signal near the flyover. They were surprised to see the girls have also started and following them now)
Harry: Sam, they are following us.
Sam: OH wow!! OK now lets play the game.
Harry: Game.Please bro god doesn't give us more than one chance.
Sam: Shut up and listen to the plan now. We take the longer route and see if they are following us or not.
Harry: At your commands Master!!
(The girls were following them and stopped at every signal when the guys stopped)
Harry: Check out in your rear view mirror. They are just behind and looking at us.
Sam: Dude what you think am doing. fine. Harry so many times in life girls have played the game and have given us game over. Now is the chance for us to teach them a lesson.
Harry: Sam i think we are throwing away the chance and this time the girls are also looking good. so please let's not do something like that.
Sam: Sorry bro i have decided now let us show what is the level of guys..
(Sam puts the right indicator and rides straight confusing the girls. The girls take a right turn and lose the track of the guys)
Sam: Am really happy now.
Harry: What a sadistic pleasure bro.
Sam: You call this as Sadism. then it is not even closer.

After One Week
Scene 3:
(Sam and Harry at Sam's Place. Having breakfast and watching the Regional music channel on TV)
Harry: The vermicelli upma is damn tasty.....mm. Can i have some more aunt?
Aunt(Sam's mom): Sure da Kanna(Sweetheart in Tamil).
Harry: Sam look at the TV..It is the same girl who chased us the other day.
Sam: Oh shit! yes dude it is the same girl.
Harry: What have you done bro. you and your stupid game. We must be sitting with them in some coffee shop or chi chi club.
Sam: It happens in life. Now let's check out what's her name.
Harry: What's the use in knowing the name now.
(harry gets angry and switches off the TV)

Give me MORE...

Desire according to me is the Individuals Biggest enemy. Desire has always been the Donnybrook. Desire to be a Actor, Entrepreneur etc..does it really help you achieve the actual stuff in reality? How is desire different from want and different from longing? I desire money, power, and fame. But what do I long for? I had a place to live, food to eat, and a family. I had, in a sense, everything a child needs, albeit lacking some social experience. My desire was to eat a full Dairy Milk chocolate, have a Faber Castell pencil, Parker Pen, to be a Sluggard and to have a Hot Girl Friend in school. This was the first part of my life. As I grew older, however, I became to be an aficionado to the ever-present and immortal influence of the word “more”. More space, more stuff, more money, more “as seen on TV”, more everything. Now, I’m not saying that more is bad. It is our nature to desire a comfortable and, if lucky, luxurious life. Desire is a craving - a craving for the physical. I desire anything and everything. I desire money and don't need to be numismatic for that. I desire power. I desire fame, businesses, and the world, even. The thing is, I desire because I am afraid. I am afraid of a less than comfortable life.Since starting to desire anything and everything, I have moved on to other things. I admit that my fear of life and desire for the physical were cultivated by media, Western culture, and the environments I lived in, in which everyone else had “more”.

Want is different from desire in that it is not necessarily associated with the physical. Want is what we often call “dreams” or “aspirations” - our “calling”; the subject of the want is often attainable. That is, if circumstances allow and one works hard enough. I’ve gone through several wants. I wanted to become a PILOT and even today i can say that in a vociferous voice. I wanted to start a business. These wants, however, are still tied to the physical desire of money and power, which is perfectly acceptable; many people aspire to become or do things that will improve their lives. What do I long for? The impossible. Longing is the desire, the want, the craving; it is what you find yourself seeking after you have attained everything you ever wanted and desired. I feel the longing deep within me - in my soul. Fly, swim, jump, fall, and fight. Not just as a human being, but as other animals, bugs, plants if you believe in such things. Be Latino, Black, White, Asian, your choice. You can stick with those if you want, though. As for me, I long for anything and everything. I long for the experience of indescribable joy, loneliness, and community. I long for travel across universes, time, and dimensions, discovery of other forms of life.

All said and done which may or may not be possible in this life time!! I just pray to god to fulfill this Longing or want or desire which is to fly a Fighter Plane............

Six Footer!!

6 feet 2 inches or 187 cms is the height of this person am gonna talk about. Gigantic is this living human creature who always in trouble because of the height. If you are looking for a 6 feet tall, handsome and highly intellectual escort then he is the right person but fortunately or unfortunately he is single and ready to mingle. He gets noticed at every place he goes... All said and done the disadvantages of being tall is too much.Everyone tells him to be proud of the height but he really doesn't care being this tall. He sadly thinks that he is still growing. Even though he is young he still suffers from back aches. There's never enough room for him in the chairs or on the bus. The roof on the bus comes up to his shoulders. He wishes that he could be seen by others as more than just an obnoxiously tall person and actually to know him as a person. Hmm he is also sad about the fact that he is not that tall to be in the history books like the tallest living man Radhouane Charbib ( Country -Tunisia) is 7ft 8.9 inches confirmed by the Guiness book of records or atleast like Abraham Lincoln(6ft 4 inches tall). Advantages of being tall is too good because Height does come in handy occasionally as when asked to retrieve items from the top shelves at various places. At times he believes this is just a ploy to check out his 'backside' as he stretches up to full length to retrieve the required item.LOL! He tend to be noticed when he enters a room. It is difficult to remain anonymous when one towers over most others.

Being tall raises physical expectations from others where presence and gravitas carry value.Advice to others would include the dictum to always stand up straight as posture is, perhaps, more important than height. Whatever said and done it is up to the individual to put your best physical self forward!!!

Have always wondered and have never seen a girl going behind a guy who is shorter than her. So in that sense am lucky that many girls will be looking out for this SiX Footer known as Harish !!!

Breakup......

Breakup is it a malediction? It is the worse thing which could happen to anyone. The heart seeks for someone very badly. You feel that your loved one should not be happy at all with her new partner and you start cursing her and feel jealous. It is very true because she has substituted your position and you are awaiting to substitute. You feel heartbroken because you don't have a person to talk to and hug or kiss but she has someone with whom she can make love. Breakup should never be considered mazy when you have not volunteered or to be blamed. There might be N number of reasons but it happens only if one of you is not convinced with the relationship. Think that the person is insensate and doesn't deserve you.Kill the thoughts of your loved one by burning her photograph or vituperate her over a call or anything which you feel will relieve your pain and regrets. It sounds puerile but it definitely works and the great example is JAB WE MET movie and in life the the actors are real. Believe me life moves on, things change and you resume back to your normal life. Have you ever wondered how the life was before you met the person? being single is a blessing because you have the freedom to do anything what you want and have enough time to fight a war. Just get accustom to the new life set goals and work towards achieving it which would be easy to say but very difficult to execute. Just thank god that you came to know about the Girl's attitude before you could get into any serious commitment. Imagine the consequences if it happened after your marriage. Just divert your mind with music or any other activities which interests you. As you start to develop some emotional distance, spend some time thoughtfully considering your failed relationship. What were your failures? What could you have done better? What have you learned from the relationship? What are you going to do in the future to give your next relationship a better chance for success? You made a big personal and emotional investment in a relationship that ultimately failed. I think it is really important to learn something from your experience. There can be some really unpleasant days after a relationship break up. There are people who really care about you. Reach out to them.Getting over a break up takes time. Try to always remember, with time, there will be better days.

Love is sempiternal so love and live every moment of life!! And Believe,

What is LoVe??

The best and most beautiful things in the world can't be seen, nor touched, but are felt in the heart. Love is not just a feeling to be shared. Love is strong yet delicate.It can be broken.To truly love is to understand this.To be in true love means that you trust someone with everything. To be in love is to respect this. Love is not about finding the right person, but creating a right relationship. It's not about how much love you have in the beginning but how much love you build till the end. There are three great things in this world,The first thing is for you to love someone, The second thing is for someone to love you back And the third greatest thing is for the first and second thing to happen at the same time.It's hard to tell your mind to stop loving someone when your heart still does. " After saying all the above things still it is not enough to define love. Love is not only sharing, caring or giving one's heart but to understand, compromise, adjust in life and to tell the other soul that you exist to support in every aspect of their life, in every difficulty he/she face. To be in love with someone is easy but to marry the same person and to live with him is reality and you need to have the confidence, trust and dedication to make it happen failing which your LOVE fails.Love is like sunshine. It brings a golden glow to its beholder's face. And a warm feeling all over their body. It awakens souls and opens eyes. And when its over, it leaves zillions of small memories called stars. To remind the world, that it still exists. My LOVE still exists.......will remain forever!!
